邱创伟,1994年出生于江西上饶,2016年毕业于中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院实验艺术系,获学士学位;2024年毕业于中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院,获硕士学位。创作领域涉及装置艺术、影像艺术和数字艺术,个人作品曾在北京清华大学艺术博物馆、香港邵逸夫创意媒体中心、上海明当代美术馆、苏州寒山美术馆、中国美术学院美术馆等地展出;现生活工作于杭州。
我的大部分艺术创作与研究工作围绕三个关注点,第一个是基于物理学原理的装置艺术创作与研究,我追求物理学原理与装置艺术的有机融合,认为巧妙地运用物理学原理可以为装置艺术作品创造诗意的语境,这种语境类似于《二十四诗品》中所描述的“清奇”与“超诣”。
我的第二个关注点是AI(人工智能)艺术。我自2016年大学本科毕业以后就一直从事数字艺术相关的研究与工作,先后创作了网络动画表情包系列作品以及三维动画作品。2021年,我回到中国美术学院读研,开始接触计算机编程的相关课程,学习用Python编程语言开发“艺术程序”,以及用C#编程语言在Unity引擎下创作电子游戏作品。2023年,我开始使用Stable Diffusion、Midjourney等AIGC工具进行艺术创作,在这个过程中对AI艺术产生了浓厚的兴趣。在我看来,AIGC工具对艺术创作起到了极大的“增幅”效果,使一些曾经需要跨领域协作的基础工作变得简单,让艺术家可以专注于更深层次的创作。
我的第三个关注点是以“空间介入”为主的艺术创作方式。简单来说,就是艺术家走出工作室,到社会现场或自然现场去做创作,放大自己的感官,在现实世界中寻找创作可能。有趣的是,这个关注点和第二个关注点恰好是相反的方向,虽然AIGC工具发展迅速,但在我看来是这其实是可以被计算的艺术,是存在“可能性”边界的;而“空间介入”的艺术创作方式则是充满不确定性的,艺术家需要在随时可能发生变化的环境中捕捉创作可能,这是及其有趣的且具有挑战性的。
Qiu Chuangwei, born in 1994 in Shangrao, Jiangxi province, graduated from the Department of Experimental Art, School of Intermedia Art, China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree in 2016.He graduated from the School of Intermedia Art,China Academy of Art with a master's degree in 2024.His works have been exhibited in Tsinghua University Art Museum in Beijing, Run Run Shaw Creative Media Center in Hong Kong, Ming Contemporary Art Museum in Shanghai, Hanshan Art Museum in Suzhou, Art Museum of China Academy of Art, etc. Currently lives and works in Hangzhou.
Most of Qiu chuangwei's artistic creation and research work centers on two concerns. The first one is installation art creation and research based on physics principles. He pursues the organic integration of physics principles and installation art, believing that clever application of physics principles can create poetic context for installation art works. This kind of context is similar to the "Qingqi" and "Chaoyi" described in "Twenty-Four Poetry Style".
My second focus is AI (artificial intelligence) art. Since I graduated from university in 2016, I have been engaged in research and work related to digital art. I have created series of network animation emojis and three-dimensional animation works successively. In 2021, I returned to China Academy of Art for postgraduate study and began courses related to computer programming, learning to develop "art programs" with Python programming language and create video games with C# programming language under Unity engine. In 2023, I began to use AIGC tools such as Stable Diffusion and Midjourney to create art work, and in the process I developed a strong interest in AI art. In my opinion, the AIGC tool has had a tremendous "amplification" effect on artistic creation, making some basic work that once required cross-disciplinary collaboration easier and allowing artists to focus on deeper creations.
My third concern is the way of artistic creation based on "space intervention". To put it simply, artists go out of the studio to create in the social scene or the natural scene, magnify their senses, and find creative possibilities in the real world. Interestingly, this concern and the second concern is in the opposite direction, although AIGC tools have developed rapidly, but in my opinion it is actually a calculable art, there is a "possibility" boundary; On the other hand, the way of artistic creation of "space intervention" is full of uncertainty, and artists need to capture creative possibilities in an environment that may change at any time, which is extremely interesting and challenging.接触
